The vehicle which will be retrofitted with an all electric powertrain and other modern technology like a digital gauge cluster, speedometer, and tachometer will be dubbed "E Type Zero".

Wednesday, August 9 was officially Dull and Boring Day, and Jaguar marked the occasion by launching a campaign for the 2018 Jaguar F-TYPE in the towns of Dull, Perthshire in Scotland and Boring in Oregon. The company presented two residents from each town with a new 2018 Jaguar F-TYPE R and sent them off to enjoy everyday activities.

Following its world debut this past June at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the U.K., this ultra-limited edition sports sedan is making North American debut at several events held during Monterey Car Week. The XE SV Project 8, which reaches a top speed of 200 mph, is just the second Collector's Edition vehicle to be come out of Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations (SVO).
